Mossibilities are fun, tried and tested art experiences inspired by moss.
We've created them using ecological, regenerative and scientific principles, including the freshest research on nature connection. They're based on the teachings of Potowatomi bryologist Robin Wall Kimmerer, author of Gathering Moss. Moss evolved over 400 million years ago, surviving every extinction event and paving the way for life on earth as we know it today. They're the definition of resourceful: thriving through sharing resources, filtering air and water and adapting to changing climates. They're found all over earth: from rainforests to deserts to a car park floor. We're interested in what we can learn from mosses: what they can teach us about life in balance, adapt and thrive - especially as we teeter on the brink of the environmental crisis. Lucy Dukes and I co-create and co-host these experiences. |
Mossibilities
Our experiences are modular: we always adapt them to the specific location or organisations we work with.
Mossy Adventures
Interactive walking adventures to observe and playfully interact with moss.
Helps us learn about mosses and leaves participants with a deeper connection to moss and nature.

Mossy Imaginings
A multi-sensory meditation and imagination experience with moss as a symbolic act of nurturing for ourselves and the planet.
Helps us take a moment to slow down and use our senses to interact with moss and nature physically and emotionally. We use moss as a way in to imagining future worlds, and reimagining the world around us . |
Mossy Chats
An informal and exciting talk by my collaborator Lucy Dukes which is inspired by indigenous intelligence and scientific knowledge, exploring how moss can help us reimagine our relationship with the world around us.
Helps us rethink what moss can teach us, and how we might use these learnings to craft future worlds that are better for the planet. |
Mossy Creations
A fun, creative activity centred around moss. Working collaboratively we created a large group artwork produced using biodegradable and found materials.
This energetic workshop sees participants creatively expressing what they’ve learnt whilst standing and moving around while drawing. Artworks are displayed afterwards, or recycled sustainably. |
“I feel enlightened, hopeful, informed, invigorated.
I’m ready to continue my journey improving my relationship with nature”
