Street stories
A project about the language of our wild wild streets
The streets are an intricate part of our lives.
This series of images capture and explore those fragments and create a narrative about how we interact with the world around us.

We pound the streets every day, weaving through them in our daily lives. They hold traces of us: from the particles of dust we leave from the soles of our shoes, to the worn-away pavement from thousands of feet, or the rubbish we discard.
Evidence left behind from from these everyday interactions highlights our relationship with the streets and its place in our lives and culture. Our stories and memories overlay each moment and movement. Our respect and disrespect for society. The things we leave behind, intentional or unintentional give clues to culture, pride, perspectives and politics.
Images were taken on London's streets, using an Iphone 5S, between January 2015 and April 2016.
