Artwork was created from the raw 'data'.
Each artwork represents themes that the data could be grouped into.
Themes included: Banal, Rude and Crude, Expressing Feelings, Funny, Leaving your mark, Philosophical, Sexual expression, Feedback, Politics, Religion, Gender and sexuality.
Happenings
When people discovered that this was for an art project they were excited to have contributed and asked deep questions about what it was for and what I was finding.
I became a de facto 'confessional' for what people thought of and had done (or still did) in public toilets.
Sleeping, sexual acts, crying, meditating, time away from their children, a moment of peace, a moment of rest were all topics shared with me.
